Today is Vijayadashami. I started receiving wishes for this day. I realized this was an opportunity to start something new much like the new year is a time for making resolutions. At the same time I was watching the interview I conducted with Dr. Gurulinga Kapse who is a renowned Kannada scholar. Dr. Kapse spoke with me for close to 2 hours last evening as we had dinner. It was a very interesting discourse on Kannada, literature and many other issues. I felt this is something I should share with others. This idea gained more form as I realized I now have recordings of my interview with Dr. C. Aswath, T S Nagabharana as part of my Kannada radio show on http://www.itsdiff.com/. For a while I was also looking for a platform where I could give expression to my hobbies, interests and observations. I thought today should be the muhurtha for that activity. And thus was born Rasikara Rajya. I plan to write about current events, movies, drama, music, literature and humor. I am happy to post this first video of this blog in which Dr. Gurulinga Kapse offers his best wishes.
